Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Teens: This is Your Community Midrasha!

This is your place. A pluralistic Jewish learning community where teens from all over Durham-Chapel Hill come to learn, to laugh, to be inspired. We bring together teens from all backgrounds of Jewish life and welcome you regardless of synagogue affiliation or prior religious education.

One of the most wonderful aspects of Community Midrasha is that we bring together teens representing the diversity of Jewish life in our community. We welcome all Jewish teens regardless of synagogue affiliation or prior religious education.

Our teachers are likewise a diverse group of Rabbis, educators and graduate students from all streams of our community.

Our students have the opportunity to choose two courses each trimester from a wide variety of offerings focused on Modern Hebrew, Torah, Tikkun Olam, Israel, Jewish History, and Jewish Arts. These courses will be held on Sundays at the Education Wing of Judea Reform Congregation from 5:30—7:30 pm. Dinner is served at 5:00 pm.
